Clark’s C15-C35 Internal Combustion (IC) Pneumatic-tired forklifts include the latest advances in ergonomic, power, safety, durability and performance. These lift trucks are well suited for the toughest applications. Operator Comfort & Safety A fully adjustable, full suspension seat, molded for operator support comes as an option in the C15-C20s models, while it is included on all other models in this Gen 2 series of IC Pneumatic-tired forklifts. Operators are secure with a non-cinching retractable seat belt. All models include a tilt steering column that can be adjusted to the operator’s comfort, and allows for easier entry and exit of the cab. Cowl-mounted hydraulic controls are located and sized for operator ease of use, while a thick-molded floor mat reduces vibration and noise level to improve operator comfort. A hydraulic cushioning valve also reduces vibration as well as shock thanks to silent staging. Maximum visibility is achieved with a nested I-channel which allows space for cylinders, hoses and chains. An LCD dash display includes a microprocessor to monitor the condition of these Clark lift trucks. It also controls such functions as truck systems and neutral starting, as well as prevents cranking while the engine is running. Performance These Clark forklifts include a 4-cylinder, dual overhead cam engine. Models C15-C20s produce 52 HP and 114 ft-lbs of torque at 1500 RPM. Models C20 and up produce 70 HP and 140 ft-lbs of torque at 1600 RPM. The internal, self-lubricating chain-driven cams and automatic chain tensioners ensure a long life for these lift trucks and protect the engine from debris. Or these Clark lift trucks can come with the world-recognized 4TNV88 Tanmar Diesel engine with a standard vertical exhaust. These are durable, easy to start, and easy to service engines with excellent fuel economy. Plus the low emission indirect injection reduces noise level. The Hydraulic system on these Clark lift trucks provide maximum horsepower and uses load sensing flow control to reduce heat build-up. A main hydraulic valve incorporates adjustable flow controls on the tilt and auxiliary functions to achieve the optimum performance of attachments. The sectional design on these forklifts allows for the easy addition of extra functions and simplifies service. An upright-mounted load lowering valve controls lowering regardless of the speed of the engine.
