Mitsubishi’s FD70E Internal Combustion (IC) Pneumatic-tired forklift is designed to work in the most demanding outdoor applications. With the ability to move 15,500 pounds in a single load, these lift trucks are capable of moving oversized loads such as steel bars, concrete pipe, cargo containers and bundled forest products.

Operator Comfort & Safety

The FD70E lift truck has been designed to maximize operator well-being with multiple safety and comfort features. Seat-side lever controls are easy to reach and operate. A full suspension seat, tilt steering column and generous floor space keep operators comfortable over long periods. A three point entry /exit system consists of an open step, convenient grab bar and seat hip restraint. Wide-spaced mast channels and a low-profile counterweight enhance operator visibility. And, should an operator leave the normal seated position, Mitsubishi’s Integrated Presence System (IPS) initials a series of protection actions.

Performance

This Mitsubishi forklift comes standard with the EnvirO2 engine which not only meets current regulations, but exceeds 2010 emissions levels as well. The EnvirO2 engine produces less than 30 percent of the smog-forming emissions allowed by the 2010 standards. The EnvirO2 engine in the FD70E consists of the Mitsubishi S6S-T diesel engine, which delivers high torque, low noise and efficient fuel economy to boost both travel and lift speeds. A large capacity cooling system helps protect this forklift’s engine components against high temperatures associated with sustained operations in tough applications. A two-speed power shift transmission allows operators to control top speed, eliminating excessive shifting for short shuttles and providing more toque at low speeds.

Maintenance & Warranties

Mitsubishi forklifts only need to be serviced every 500 hours. Parts and labor for all systems on the lift trucks are covered under warranty for one year and all power train components are covered under warranty for two years.
